Baby pulling ear

My 4-month old started pulling her ear (only the left one) during breastfeeding. I haven't noticed it during other times. It started a few days ago, and she's pulling at it really hard. She doesn't have a fever so I thought it wouldn't be an ear infection, but probably worth checking. Trying to get through to a GP this morning but haven't had much luck yet. Has anyone else had anything similar?

Hey, it’s a sign of teething, my baby is teething and does it quite a lot 😊 x

@Beth wow really? That didn't even occur to me! My son got his first tooth after he turned 1 so I naively assumed she'd be the same 😅

My little boy is doing the same and he’s 4 months. No temp, I think it’s teething x

Definitely teething, my little girl had her first tooth pop through and has been doing this for a little while, she does little grabby hand movements by her ear x

@Natalie Awwh it’s hard they’re all so different aren’t they 😂 she does it at other times than feeding but she is definitely doing it a lot and teething x

Thanks all, that's reassuring! :) x
