Baby boy is 6 days old
Been offering 2oz (formula fed) and yesterday and today he's taken all 2oz in most bottles (some had a tiny bit left).
Last night I had to give another after an hour and half as he was searching and crying for milk.
Should I increase to offering 3oz or is it too early? I don't want to overfeeding so he is sick.
My first was a proper guzzler too and at one point a few month in was on double the recommended amount . Can't remember how much he had newborn though

I just fed my boy on demand...I think within the first week he was on 90ml which I believe is 3oz.
The advise is usually to up an oz if they're finishing every bottle and looking for more. Almost impossible to overfeed a baby they will just bring it up if it's too much. I fed both mine on demand and they were both on at least 3oz by a week old x
My lo was the same but then sometimes he didn’t finish the 3 so we just feed 2 most of the time and get more if needed
my little boy was on 90ml/ 3 oz every 3 hours at 3 days old and the midwife told us that as long as he’s happy and healthy that’s all that matters. he was 7.7lbs when born and he’s now almost 5 months and about 17lbs
