@Nell I asked, they won't let me, they're saying the only way they will move me earlier is if complications pop up. I was originally told 37-38 weeks and was hoping for 37 weeks on the dot because of all these concerns. I'm in the US though, that may have something to do with it.
Ah ok, yes, maybe it's different in the US. I hope you easily make it to your date 🙏
My singleton was born at 40+6, I had a natural birth with him. I had to have a c section with my twins as they were both breech. I delayed the c section as long as possible to give them the chance to turn but I hit 38 weeks and they hadn’t budged so had the c section then x
@Michelle thank you 😊 I'm hoping mine stay put til 38 weeks, they're both head down but with me having a c section with my first and them having big heads, I feel safer going with another scheduled c section 😬
I was induced with my son @ 39/5, went in not dilated AT ALL no type of progress. With my DCDA twins I went in for induction @ 38w and shockingly was already 5cm dilated upon arrival (I had no consistent contractions or anything indicating to me that I was going in to labor soon)
I made it to a planned c section with no signs of labour at exactly 40 weeks with my little boy, for my twins my c section was planned for 37 weeks 4 days but I went into labour naturally at 36w4 days x
Can you not request an earlier date? I was told they try not to let you go too much past 37 weeks with dcda twins. I had an induction at 39+5 with my singleton and with my twins I made it to my c section date of 37+5. If you want an earlier date I'd ask if I were you
