@Alex I was 3 weeks when I asked for a appointment and got it at 5 weeks c

If you self refer or gp makes the referral, they will write to you and you should get your first MW appointment around 9 weeks

Booking appointment usually around 8-10 weeks and then they'll book you in for your scan x

That’s different… UK is definitely different!

I think you will feel Unsupervised the whole pregnancy in the UK if you don’t take the lead. Ask for anything you think of, read about what is important to follow up and chase them if needed.

@Alex yeh it was about that but with my first I had the booking appointment at 6 weeks x

If you can afford it, I highly recommend getting a local doula as she will not only be able to support you during the birth, but should be able to help with navigating the system to get the best care! Tbh, I got all the tips just from a meet and greet chat

Every part of the UK is different. In my borough (Lewisham) you have to refer yourself & register with the midwives. I called my drs to ask what I do.
