She did then it turned to constipation after 4 weeks I was told to stop yesterday and now she’s pooing every hour 😣

My LB had it terrible and I couldn’t use it in the end, does your LO have cmpa?

@Chelsea yeah just been diagnosed a few weeks ago! Started carobel yesterday and his poos are explosive 🙈 but it’s helped the reflux, so not sure what to do!

@Siobhan ah no way 😩 it’s helped his reflux but then his poos are so loose, you don’t know what to do for the best!

@Ellise yeah I had the same issue too!! Cmpa baby’s seem to react to it sometimes tho 😭😭 we had to persevere with gaviscon unfortunately xx

@Chelsea I think I’m gonna give it till Sunday and if he’s still like it ring GP Monday and change to gaviscon, did gaviscon make your LO constipated? Xx

@Ellise not really, he’s not too bad with it now tbh he had odd days but barely at all, he’s on 1 of the sachets still I didn’t up him to 2 sachets when he gained weight. He’s on omeprazole too but I’m weaning him off it now because his reflux was down to his cmpa! Just keep an eye if no changes just ring for gaviscon it’s a shame cos it proper helped my little boys reflux too xx

@Ellise yeh it hasn’t really helped the reflux either. My eldest it was amazing but no idea what to do with my youngest. As much as I don’t want to wish these days away I can’t wait till she can eat without being in pain 😣

My GP wouldn’t give me gaviscon because she kept saying the constipation will be worse 🤦🏽‍♀️ I’m giving it till Monday and if it’s the same I’m going to ask for it

@Chelsea what milk is your LO on?? I was surprised because I thought the carobel would cause constipation rather than diarrhoea 😂😂 the gp said when she prescribed it that if it doesn’t work she can swap it to gaviscon xxx

Also at what point did they prescribe the omeprazole? Xxx

@Siobhan I would say to them can I have some lactulose for constipation too xx

@Ellise yeh it’s really odd as my eldest they gave her lactulose and literally after a couple of days she was pooing normally. They won’t give this one anything 🫣 was just told they don’t like to over medicate. Well I also don’t want my baby in pain 🤦🏽‍♀️
