Constant pain pregnant with twins

I’m 28 weeks pregnant with DCDA twins. I’ve reached the point where pretty much everything hurts at one point or another, either it’s my hips or my pelvis or my stomach or my back or a combination of all of them. For twin Mums who have been there, is this normal for twin pregnancy and will it all go away when I’m no longer carrying them? Thanks ladies xxxxx

It's definitely normal my twins are 14months old my back pain hasn't left but I had a buldge disk in my back before pregnancy I've now got 4 stuffed disk from the twin pregnancy but I've heard the pain does go away in your back the rest goes the day they are born

Yes I was the same. End of my twin pregnancy was very difficult so I really feel for you. My twins are almost 7 months old now and my body feels pretty much the same as pre pregnancy. My lower back is a bit sore sometimes but that's because my core needs work! X

Totally normal. I was basically bed bound from 30 weeks. Even walking to the toilet hurt. I don’t suffer with any long term pain. The pelvic pain went away pretty instantly at delivery and the C-section pain was actually better than the pregnancy pain!

Unfortunately very common, my hips were so painful. I did go back to “normal” afterwards, and found keeping as active as possible helped. I’d say I’m fitter now than ever, running around after two energetic 14 month olds certainly helped!

Unfortunately this is very normal I reached a point where my PGP was so bad I couldn't walk but it does all go away once you give birth. My pains eased away within the first week/2 weeks. But I definitely agree with @Ceri-Ann the delivery/c section was 100% better than the pregnancy pains. I'd say invest in a pregnancy pillow because it does help relieve a lot of pressure when you're sat/laying down

Same here! 29 weeks on Thursday and I’m just so exhausted, uncomfortable and in pain. Everything I do hurts

Yeah I was on crutches the last month of my pregnancy the PGP was horrendous but I'm alot better now 11 months PP!

Everyone who isn’t pregnant with twins says it’s like a two for one pregnancy, I think it would be easier to do it twice really!! Thanks for all the reassurances ladies, at least it’s all completely normal, if horrible.

I had a singleton first. That pregnancy was a breeze compared to my twins. No pelvic pain. Carried on as normal until the day I went to hospital. A singleton is waaaaaay easier to carry than twins
