I still wasn’t engaged at 38 weeks at my last appointment but then baby came at 39 weeks so it can vary a lot x
Baby may not drop for another 3/4 weeks unfortunately
Sometimes baby doesn’t engage until you’re actually in labour 🤷🏻♀️. Could happen weeks before or could happen as you’re labouring, each baby is different.
I'm 38 + 3 and had my midwife this morning and was told baby isn't engaged. She told me not to worry there's plenty of time. Like others have already said it can happen in labour rather than early. X

My little one wasn’t engaged until I went into labour. I had my midwife appointment at 38+4, they said I wasn’t engaged and refused the sweep, I went into labour the same night x
It’s so different for everyone. I was engaged for weeks and nothing then I ended up in a c-section. My best advice would be to try to forget about it for now especially as it can happen quickly on the flip side xx
My bub never dropped. I was halfway through labour before their head actually engaged
36-38 normally but might not happen till start of Labour
