Acid reflux/heartburn - what helps?!?!

Literally the day before I hit 19 weeks I started feeling like when I swallow food or liquid, it doesn’t go all the way down and like gets “stuck” in my chest. I’m told this is like acid reflux or heartburn, which I’ve never had. I tried tums to no avail. They say don’t lie down or bend over within 3 hrs of eating but I even feel it if I’m standing or sitting up. This is so uncomfortable!! I would love to hear any remedies or specific foods (I know they say acidic foods but I don’t e en know what that means) that exacerbate or maybe foods that are “safer.” I did have a lobster bisque earlier today and I didn’t feel the pain but then I had steak with rice and beans for dinner and it’s back! Help please!
