I've got a phone call with consultant at 30 weeks

I’m have an appointment with a consultant at 34 weeks, this was made when I went to my 12 week scan!

I was told these discussions happen after the 36 weeks scan when the baby's position and other factors that can influence how you can give birth are available.

With the midwife it's 32 weeks I think. Do you have a 28 week appointment you can ask at?

My midwife said that will be discussed at the 34 week appointment 😊

My previous pregnancy was consultant led and I was asked at 37 weeks

I want to have an elective c section and was told by my midwife that she would refer me to speak to a consultant but haven’t heard back yet.

My midwife started asking me at the 28 week appointment

I have an appointment with the consultant midwives next week (27+4) to have this discussion x

@Emily - I have one tomorrow with the consultant so will ask them as I will be 28 week. Just wanted to get an idea as I see a lot of ladies already know if they are having a c section as given my complications I would expect that to be discussed. Thank you so much

I had an appt with consultant at 20 week scan appt and I signed forms for elective section. Got another appt with consultant at 36 weeks to check all still on track etc and still happy with my decision

Is there any prerequisite for elective c section
