What do people mean when they say baby is pulling to stand?

Are they holding your hands and pulling up? Pulling up on furniture? If so how? He’s too small to be like pulling himself up on the couch 😂 I feel so stupid but I’m confused 😂 my baby wants to stand all the time but he’s not doing this I don’t think, I hold his hands and he starts to learn forward and stand but I’d say with extra help from me but he’s only 6.5 months, what age did your baby start?

I mean ours doesn’t even go near the sofa, he’s just playing and rolling on his playmat 😂😅

It’s still very young for this milestone - It’s normally between 9 and 12 months. There’ll always be babies that do things early but it’s not that common, rolling and crawling normally comes first. They all go at their own pace though 😊

@Zeynep same really 😂I just keep seeing people saying their babies are pulling to stand and I’m like what do you mean

@Gemma I did think it would come abit later! I don’t understand how some babies this age are pulling on the furniture to stand, either my couch is just high or their couch is on the ground, I have no idea😂

Yeah my eldest started at 11 months. My 7mo barely rolls 😂

Mine pulls himself to stand only when we are holding his hands not in furniture
