he understands pee pee and potty and everything but him expressing his self about having to go potty and not happening

@monique I ordered my son a potty watch that plays fun music every time it’s time to go potty. You can set the timer for 30, 60, 90, and 120 minute intervals for how often you want him to try and the music makes it fun! Don’t feel like a failure, potty training is hard!! Remember you’re doing the best that you can and give yourself grace for trying! Regardless of how long it takes, it doesn’t take away from what a great mom and woman you are ❤️

thank you so much and i will look into it thank you

We have been potty training my kiddo for almost a year, some days she gets it and some days she has accident after accident (and not just pee 😩). I definitely feel like a failure on those days and ask myself what I did wrong…but I try to remember the phrase “progress over perfection” it’s not gonna be perfect right away or even after a million tries, but each time it’ll get better or easier and especially with kids, consistency is key! So keep trying, keep encouraging him, find something that works for you (potty watch, rewards, immediate consequence, waiting him out in the bathroom until he goes, etc.), and don’t be discouraged if it seems like two steps forward and one step back…a little progress is still progress!

ok thank you

We've been training for almost a year as well. It's only been the last couple months It's started to click.
