Discipline Suggestions
I am a first time mom with a daughter who will be 3 in a couple months & sometimes she’s the sweetest little girl, but other times she won’t listen to anything. She wants to fight us to get her dressed and throw stuff alot and just doesn’t listen to the word no even when told over & over. I have no idea how to discipline a toddler and would appreciate any suggestions!! Thanks!
I’m just here to say I’m with you. I still struggle sometimes but I found that Structure helps and having transition methods help vs pulling them from one thing to another suddenly, asking vs telling too. I hope this helps! My son is 2. It may not work every-time but it helps with tantrums. The throwing and hitting is tough. Related consequences. You throw your toy, we put the toy away maybe after showing her how to play or use whatever it is. Meanwhile I fear something will break or someone will get hurt so it’s tough!
