Separation anxiety

Is anyone else’s 2 year old going through separation anxiety. Mine started daycare in September he cried at drop off for about 3 weeks and then we were fine. Then about a month ago he started to cry at drop offs again. I know he likes daycare cause he asks for his teachers often on the weekend. On the way I always talk about the things he will play with and the people he will see. Anything else I can do to help ease the anxiety

For bedtime, when we get home it’s change diaper, put sleep sack on, read books, sometimes a snuggle if he wants. In bed between 7:50 and 8 but he usually stays up until 8:30 awake in his crib

I will suggest you to stay consistent during regression. Don’t bring or introduce any new changes otherwise it gets difficult to come back to regular routine. Separation anxiety mostly occurs during beginning of bedtime not overnights. Regression lasts only 1 or 2 weeks most but if it continues then need other sneak peak to findout the reasons behind it.
