First Endo appt.

Curious as to what to expect at your first endo appointment? I'm meeting with a doctor who specializes in gynecologic surgery to check and see if my endometrioma could be the reason we're having trouble ttc. I would assume if there wasn't any type of ultrasound or bloodwork, they would have just made it a phone call rather than an in person 🤷‍♀️ Feeling so in the dark. Trying to decide if it's worth it to try an IUI first. The month of the appointment would be the first month we're eligible to try an IUI.

So I had an ultrasound, internal and external. Then went to gynae and he tried to physically feel my ovaries… was strange. This is where they discussed removing everything or me going on the pill and I said no cos I’m ttc. So they reffered me for the op. This wasn’t all in one day, was across about 6 months. Good luck sxxx

Have you had laparoscopy yet? That’s the only real way they will be able to tell you if your endometriosis is affecting you getting pregnant or not. I have stage 2 and have been doing IUIs for now unfortunately none successful but the monitoring and procedure are super easy. I know a few women who had successful IUI pregnancies on 2-3 try. @Alexandra I'm actually pregnant now ❤️ 12w4d although they're talking about still during surgery over concern of a growing endometrioma
