I'm new to this incompetent Cervix 2 doctors debating

I'm new learning about incompetent Cervix I went to the doctor and found out my cervix is open which is what the high risk doctor told me they use the wand to look inside me on the ultrasound and they explained it to me but when my obgyn doctor came she use her hand and told me she feel my cervix it's not open I dilated 1cm and the next day she came and said my cervix is shorter and she feel like I should go home and I'm not in preterm labor... So well I went back to the high risk doctor she recheck me and said it's definitely open and she trying her best to persuade my doctor that my cervix is open. High risk doctor want me to stay til I'm full term but my regular doctor want me to go home and also I been having these bad cramps feel like my mensuration full pain and they been giving me medicine to stop the labor pain... I'm not having contractions yet but I hate being confused and don't know what to do any help currently in the hospital over the weekend til I get check

I would suggest to stay at hospital for me things changed in few hours. Did they do cerclage for you or not?

They didn't because I'm 24 weeks they said it to late

They tried to call out of town everybody saying no

Then just do bed rest in hospital the more you stay the more you have chance to keep baby inside. Just listen to your high risk doctor and drink lot of water. Mama you can do this sending you lots of love and support ❤️❤️❤️

@Shakita yes they don’t do it after 20 weeks mostly

I don't understand why my doctor want me to go home and I been having preterm labor pain... She don't believe the high risk doctor at all

She got another doctor just came up here and said I could go home tomorrow if I like I told her I would wait til Monday til my doctor come back cause I'm not trying to risk anything

If you’re not already taking progesterone I would ask the drs about starting to take that! Good luck

@Victoria is 24 weeks too late to take it

It shouldn’t be. I started at 22 weeks when I had my emergency cerclage placed. You take it nightly. Talk to your dr about it. There if iffy evidence if it helps when you have a cerclage but apparently decent evidence to show it can help those without a cerclage. Something to discuss as another option to help you get as far as possible. Wishing you all the luck.

Hi Shakita, I hope it went well for you xx
