Curl Products

So I believe my hair is naturally curly, but I was never taught how to properly care for it. Anyone have any recommendations on products or tricks?

Reddit has some great stuff for curly hair! There's both r/curlyhair and r/curlygirl. Curlygirl is a more specific set of product recommendations and techniques, which I sort of recommend a "try it and take what works for you" approach with. If you're washing your hair every day, cut back. Wavy and curly hair does better with a little natural oil. I'd suggest finding a good deep conditioner, a leave in, and maybe something with protein. "Plopping" (look it up!) your hair with a Tshirt or microfiber towel is a good starting point to see what your hair does naturally, and if you use a blow dryer, you'll want to try a diffuser attachment. I hope this is a good starting point. It's hard to be specific because hair is so highly individual and different things work best for different people.

My favorite products is baby cakes! Look into getting a shirt plopping towel as well! Lots of scrunch. Apply products while hair is damp/ slightly wet
