Stopping gaviscon causing explosive poops

We have recently phased out gaviscon (I was never convinced our baby had reflux, his symptoms just went about a month ago and haven’t come back after weaning off gaviscon) but he now has a lot of watery poos , with a few explosions a day. Has anyone else experienced this ?
