Confused 😩

This was my first month taking Letrozole 2.5mg CD 3-7. My cycle is usually about 35 days long. My 21 day progesterone was low, but I was certain I ovulated on CD 22 because I had a positive LH test late in the day on CD 21, plus EWCM. I was also having a ton of pain and cramping on my left ovary and then on CD22 the pain stopped, and I had a very warm, almost tingly feeling to my left side. I haven’t had any pain/cramping since then. I went for my 28 day progesterone which was also low, indicating that I didn’t ovulate :( I stopped LH testing for a few days after CD22 (because I ran out of tests) but more arrived in the mail CD 26, and I had high LH from CD 26 to yesterday (CD 30) meaning my LH was most likely high for almost 9 days (CD 21-30) yet 28 day bloodwork proved I didn’t ovulate. I have an appointment with my OBGYN on Wednesday and I’m guessing she’ll say she wants to try 2.5mg for another month, but after not even ovulating this month, I’m going to try to get prescribed 5mg. Should I try to request a trigger shot too? I don’t even know what to do at this point.

I'd do a trigger shot, it'll ensure you ovulate! And if you aren't, I'd do a midcycle ultrasound too, around CD11ish to see how big your follicles are and when to trigger! Good luck!

Definitely the trigger shot! I was on letrozole for 3 months with a trigger shot, even though they confirmed I could ovulate on my own. That way, I could time the IUI properly. Even if you are doing timed intercourse, it’s so helpful. In addition to the trigger shot, request that they monitor you follicle growth with ultrasounds.
