Safe or not?

Just wondering is it safe to wear a waist trainer 3months pp? I used to wear one all the time before being pregnant but mainly when I was working out. I haven’t had a chance to workout yet I’m trying to find a way to fit it in when I have no breaks from looking after baby. I don’t know if I can wear it so soon when I haven’t even exercised yet..?

As a PT I wouldn't recommend wearing a waist trainer pre or post partum as it can make your core worse. There are body weight exercises that you can do at home that target your full body and core at the same time. I can find some links to videos if you'd like?

@Daneka ah I’ve worn them for years during cardio workouts or rest days, it’s helped a lot with back pain too 😅. I would appreciate that as I know how to do intense workouts but I have no idea about post partum exercises and how to strengthen my core without separating the muscles

Here are a few to get you started, and try some diaphragmatic breathing to focus on closing that gap....think when you exhale your stomach flattening, belly pulled in, and imagine that your pelvis bones are zipping together

@Daneka thank you ☺️
