Obstetrician Appointment

If you've been midwifery led so far I'm guessing this appointment is do discuss your elective. They'll go through your reasons, risks etc and book in a date. X

Also worth asking them about gentle c sections.. Can u have skin to skin straight away. Partner still cut the cord? Drape lowered if you want? Music? Photos Who will announce sex of baby. @Vicky see I’m extremely nervous as my midwife referred me with no questions and was lovely. She sent me to triage due to other minor issues and said to mention to a doctor to see if they can speed up the appointment and the doctor was just horrible! Said I’d asked too late (been mentioning it since 28 weeks) and was just nasty overall. I’ve got a big list of reasons and my understanding of risks so hopefully I’ll be ok! X

@Rachael I think I have same situation. I am now 37 weeks and I asked once in 28 weeks for consultant appointment and my midwife said she will refer then again I asked at 34 weeks and nothing then I called them at 36 weeks and lady on the phone was shocked that I didn’t have yet… they gave me for Monday but I ja stressed now 😭
