Ovulating after miscarriage

Likewise! I also conceived December and had a missed miscarriage in February. My bleeding stopped at 2 weeks and I ovulated a week later.. so 3 weeks after my MC I had a peak on both ovulations strips and clear blue I had a static smiley .. I’m currently on the two week wait 9DPO scared to test!! 😭

I had a miscarriage in February… I did not test for ovulation. But i heard it sometimes takes 2-4 weeks

I did not ovulate until I got my first cycle. So miscarriage was in January, first cycle started a month later, ovulated day 14

I'm also trying to work this out, I got my positive pregnancy test on Jan 20th but found out baby had no heart beat at 10weeks and also measured 8weeks. I had a d&c procedure on the 12th march. Trying to decide when to start trying. Did you log your period as the miscarriage bleeding? Or are you waiting for your next real period? It's so confusing. I had a miscarriage also last year and it took us 7mnths to conceive again but I passed them naturally

I calculated the day I passed everything naturally as cycle day 1 & I started tracking with ovulation strips from then.. I then had a peak on the 10th march (cycle day 20) meaning I ovulated on the 11th March! I’m now 12DPO and I got a bfp 🙏🏻just hope baby sticks this time.. 🌈all in all I did not wait until my period as my doctor mentioned I can try whenever we were ready to

After my miscarriage, I bled for 7 weeks 😭 I had my first period and then started tracking ovulation. But I did notice that I was ovulating 2-3 days later than I normally did. So I was now ovulating around CD 16-CD 17. Good luck! ❤️

Hey all, thought I’d update you. So the day I posted this I started bleeding. It was a super heavy but short period of only two days. I’ve been tracking since and ovulated yesterday! Trying the sperm meets egg method so will let you know how it all goes xxx

As I side note.. I do have really short 24 day cycles so I ovulated on CD 10

Never thought I’d get to come back and say this.. but I’m pregnant again 🥰

@Robiat yeah of course! So there’s a few variations I think.. but basically you don’t leave an opportunity to ovulate without there being sperm there. Once you get a high ovulation reading or a spike in LH (not peak) you start having sex every other day until you reach your peak ovulation. Once you get your peak reading, we had sex for 2 days, had a break for a day and then had sex one more time (day after ovulation) Apparently it means that there is always sperm there when the egg comes out. Do some more reading on it though because everyone gives different variations!

@Brittany thank you!! And congrats! I’m so early still, only 3w3d, not sure how I even got a positive this early. I went to the doctors today as they needed to amend my thyroid medication. I’m trying my hardest not to worry, but I can’t help thinking something will go wrong! Xxx
