Ear infections

My little boy is on his 5 ear infection within 6 months. He has antibiotics ear drops every time and he has had oral antibiotics twice. Has anyone had a similar situation with their little ones. I hate to keep giving him antibiotics 🙁 drs just saying some kids are more prone to ear infections 🙄

Hey yeah my little boy all ways had them so he got referred to ENT and the gave him a low dose 6 week course of antibiotics to kill all the infection just in case some of the infection got lefted behind if that don’t work they are fitting him grommets to help him. Hope this helps, xx

Yes my little boy had this problem they just kept on giving him the same antibiotics that weren’t working. Got referred to ENT she gave him a 3 month course of antibiotics that treated bacterial infection not had a problem since

@Rebekkah thanks so much for the info. My have now asked ENT for advise on how to continue.can I ask what type of ear infections your little boy had. Did it make him really unwell or just a bit more needy and not himself x
