What age does it get better?

My little boy is 11 weeks on Friday and the screaming only seems to get worse. What age did you notice it getting better!? I feel like we’ve tried everything to help him

These early weeks are really, really difficult especially with a discontent baby, it sounds like you're having an especially tough time with it. Every baby is different but with our daughter (now 4yo) things started to feel easier once she could sit up on her own (about 5 months), then again once she could move on her own, then again once she could tell us what she wanted. We always said she just didn't like being a baby. Apparently colic peaks at about 12 weeks so if it's that hopefully you're are almost through the worst of it and your LO should start to feel happier soon. Does he have reflux at all? We've recently started medication for reflux for our 9 week old and it has helped with his crying and fussiness so much, before we had constant crying and unhappiness too. Keep reaching out to people, if you have anyone around you to help and give you a break from the screaming, even if it's just for an hour then absolutely take it. This is the hardest it will be 💙

To add, if you don't have anyone who can take baby for a short bit while you have a breather then I found getting out of the house with baby in the pram or a sling really helped. Usually it would calm them and if it didn't I found the exercise and fresh air helped me.

16 weeks was the magical week for us. Doing any better? 💕

Thank you both for replying and sorry for not responding last week, it was overwhelming me. At the moment I’d say he’s having good days and bad days (he’s 12 weeks this week) so just hoping we see more good days and less bad days as time goes on!

Hang in there ❤️ we have also had a difficult few weeks. We had some improvement after 8 weeks. He’s 10 weeks right now so I guess we will see if things get worse again

What have you tried? We have tried a lot as well. Maybe I can suggest something you haven’t tried 🙂
