NK cells

Would you test for natural killer cella after one miscarriage? If so could I request that from our NHS clinic?

Firstly, so sorry for your loss 💙 Depends on how you have it tested. My specialist sent me after multiple losses for a uterine biopsy. It’s not pleasant and you also need to stop trying for that month. If you don’t mind me asking, do they know what may have caused this loss?

@Mads thank you ❤️ and I am sorry too for your losses 😞 I need to go for surgery this Friday. We had a silent miscarriage at 9 weeks. We do not know the cause yet, they will might tell us as we signed the consent form to send off the baby for testing. Oh I did not know that this NK cells test is this complicated. I thought it is just a general blood test.

@Dora sorry for your loss had a missed Mc at 12 weeks we got the tissue analysed and they did not find anything. I have been looking into NK testing and will try asking nhs but if not will look into private. It is my 2nd MC despite shiploads of progesterone support and blood thinner

@Ana I am sorry too for your loss😞❤️ yes we have been told as well they might won’t find anything. I was just thinking about the NK test to rule it out before our 2nd transfer.

@Dora I am exactly in the same position. This was my first transfer and hoping I can have a 2nd transfer before the summer. I have asked to get genetics done for myself and my husband too and APS blood test too. So waiting to have results which take about 4 weeks. I am hoping they don’t find anything and it was just bad luck xx

@Dora I hope surgery goes well for you lovely. Hopefully the test will provide you with some answers and give you a clearer idea of what to investigate next. 💕

@Mads thank you ❤️
