Hi please share how you found the nanny ?

@Stephanie Honour the questions above are spot on. Ask if they CPR and first aid certified, what age range do they like the most? Might want to find out if they were paid for holidays, sick days in the past. I found a bunch of questions online and through care.com

@Sasa Nanny Lane, Care.com, from friends and neighbors

Those are great questions. We had to hire a nanny two weeks ago to watch our three month old. My main questions were -do you have kids? -what will you do when the baby is sleeping? -what would a typical day of things you and the baby will do?

Think about how you parent, what’s most important to you. How do you communicate with your child? What things are you most working on? What are the expectations you have of how your home is run, what are some rules you have. How do you educate your children on things when they are doing something they shouldn’t be doing etc. talk to the nanny about all of these things and see how on board they are with your views and values.

These are some that we asked! Experience with kids Experience with dogs What do u typically do with the kids What type of approach do u use with kids if need be do u prepare food How are u at handling high stress situation Have u ever been in an emergency situation How do u usually handle a fussy child How much time notice do u prefer if possible For future reference... What is the youngest child Uve handled? Is this somethin u see still doin within the next 5 years What is usually ur process of trial or gettin to know kid/whether were the right fit! Your rate? Any questions for us?
