Periods after birth!

I had a planned c section in November and have had 2 periods since then, one last month and I’m currently on my period now. They’ve both been heavier since my baby boy was born and I’m wondering if it’s normal. I’m not passing clots, not soaking through pads and I only have slight tummy cramps. It’s just bright red blood and more than usual! Just wondered if others have had heavier cycles after birth?
