How long after you were confirmed to have a C-Section we’re you booked in for?

Hey, sounds about right I knew from the beginning I would be having a c section but unless it is needed before most electives happen on the 39th week. I had mine on my 39th week on the dot☺️

The day I signed for a c section they called that same day to tell me the date so hopefully they will call you tomorrow!

@Courtney how long before did they give you an exact date? I’m literally working till I go in so I’m so on edge at the minute 🤣

I had Tuesday appointment call on Thursday literally 3 days

I went to see my obstetrician at 30 weeks that same day when I went home I got a phone call I found out the date of the c section itself the date of the pre op which was 2 days before the c section date and a date to go in for swabs on the skin xx

The date of your pre op they will do bloods and blood pressure and give you two tablets to take the night before for the acids in your stomach, might be different at your hospital but that’s how mine done it xx and I also was told what time to come in to the hospital at the pre op xx

I found out my date at my 34 week consultant appointment, she booked it in for me while I was there and also pre op appointment and a separate appointment for MRSA swabs. My section was booked for when i will be 39+1 xx

Well because of my situation I had 2 weeks before, I gave birth when I was 36+6. I was lucky to have got that far.

One of my sections I was given a date at 17 weeks (it was moved forward due to some issues). The other 2 I was given the date at my 36 week appointment

I was booked in November for planned section on 30th Dec x

Mine was booked by consultant around 20weeks. (I'd pushed for this as midwives were implying I'd possibly have a fight for it 🙄) Discussed and picked a date..He called the hospital while I was there and booked it in for 17th March. As it happened my waters broke 5th March and they carried out the c section when we arrived at hospital the next day.

I said quite early on that I wanted a c-section but they kept moving my date, until I had some complications with my pregnancy & they had to move it forward again then x

Knew I was having one but wasn't booked officially until last week(27wks). Having baby in june

Got a notification on my App saying I’m having my C-Section Monday. No time given and no date for pre opp 🤦🏽‍♀️😭
