When do hair go away

My 9 weeks old has hair on ears, forehead, knuckles and back of her neck. She has hair on arms and legs but I’m not worried about them. Do they go away with age?

Yes

@Lesa when do they go away? My family has been suggesting to use chickpea flour paste which have been used in our culture for several decades to remove the hair. But I think it doesn’t work and it’s painful for the baby as well. Now that it’s been 9 weeks and hair are still there I have begin to question if they go away.

Just massage the baby with olive oil, the hair meant to go away will fall off as they get older :)

@Priyanka it's takes a few months, but it goes away. Like @sonika mentioned, you can massage baby with olive oil as well. If it doesn't go away on baby's arms & legs by 5 months, you could use the chickpea flour paste. She could just be blessed with lots of hair

My baby is 12 weeks and I’m just starting to notice the hair from her ears and forehead are shedding. Only noticed it bc there was teeny tiny hairs on my white sheets then looked at her ears and realized they are hairless lol

It’ll slowly fall off, it’s called lanugo if you wanted to Google it

My 12 year old still has hair on her back lol…. Some goes, some stays
