Is anyone homeschooling? Does it need to be accredited? How early did you start?

Here for the comments. I want to know too ✨

I wouldn't know sorry 😐

Same. Here for the info.

Because I looked online and there are free curriculums to follow but idk looking for someone with experience in this homeschooling thing

Good question I would love to learn as well. Not sending kids to school and feeling anxious about it.

Depends on what state you live in. https://hslda.org/legal/ For instance, I know Texas and Idaho leaves school completely up to the parent, there are no regulations or mandatory testing. I believe other stated have guidelines, suggested curriculum, and testing of some kind, but I don't live in one of those states.

Ahhh makes sense guess I should check with the board of ed

You don't need to check with the board of education. Just go on hslda.org. They have great resources and will help you figure out the rules for your state.

Awesome thanks!!

If you're in ohio, without a bachelor degree you need to go to the superintendent thats in your school district tell them you're planning on homeschooling with what books you have gotten. There is even a guide sheet on hslda.org that you can fill out and give to the superintendent to make if easier for you.

Currently homeschooling my daughters, we don’t need to be registered with the state of Arizona as a homeschool until they are 6 years and older in age. I’ve got all the online resources and workbooks ready to roll, I feel blessed that I’m able to do this for my girls. 🤍
