Change in poop after switching to whole milk

I just switched baby to whole milk and her poops have changed. They used to be hard stools (brown) and now they are soft and yellow, almost like how they were when she was in the younger months. She does not display any other signs of a milk allergy. Is this normal? Has anyone else seen this?

Normal!

Yes, my son has experienced this and his pediatrician told us it’s normal the first few days :)

I was wondering the same thing this morning! Thanks for posting :)

I’ve been switching mine and his got hard ::

See now my son actually did the opposite! His poops used to be soft and mushy, now since switching to whole milk he poops out like rocks! Some big, some real tiny and it’s frequent! I feel like within an hour of changing him he’s got more poop pellets in his diaper. And sometimes it’s a struggle for him to get them out, is this normal also??

Same happened to mine, we are still transitioning as his bday is in 9 days (!!!)

Yes. My daughter did the same thing when I started giving her whole milk. Did you introduce it slowly?

Solid and stinkier poops here! Lol

@Gabrielle yes, I know this is normal bc our ped said switching to milk could cause constipation initially and harder poops
