@Daphne guess will try it then.. and if it doesn't work is there anything else I can use?
In the meantime, do you do wonky winding after every feed? You can Google online or watch YouTube videos for demonstrations. My little girl suffers from reflux and trapped wind so we always feed her upright and hold her in wonky winding position for 20mins to clear her system. Also, try bicycle legs and baby massage. Good luck
Yes I would recommend to try it. Same thing happened with my son and he had same symptoms. I was contemplating whether to get it or not but after trying it he settled at night and he sleeps very well now.
@Jen aha i didn't know that was wonky winding that's why my baby boy loves that position then.. i was really worried he was way too bendy but wow if it soothes him then i guess its alright.. i keep positioning him upright when i he lays on my chest like that because I didn't know
It’s worked on and off for my girl. All babies are different, so try it if you want too x
@Abby it was same for my little girl lol. My midwife told me about it at our first home visit and since then she’s been a lot better plus now it’s given me more confidence to burp her correctly.
@Jen thanks yeah i think it'll help me too as sometimes I overthink and be like.. maybe I am hurting him more if I keep pushing to burp him
Best is massage. Tummy time, baby wearing and bicycling, going for walk with baby in buggy.
Gripe water works a treat for my LG xx
My little man suffers with wind, he’s bottle fee. we started using infacol and over a few days it got better. Now been using every feed for over week and he’s got a lot better!
Infacol didn't help our latest little one but gripe water did and was and has been great 👍 However infacol did work with my oldest two so it's baby dependant really
We used it and it was great but within a couple of weeks it stopped doing anything. We swapped to dentinox which you can also pop into their bottle. We also use gripe water which can also be taken with dentinox in the same bottle.
Infacol didn't work for us but gripe water is so far x gripe water is from 4 weeks old x
For some babies it works and for some babies it doesn't. I work in childcare and have people who swear by it and people who weren't that impressed. I know it's not helpful but with these kind of things it's always trial and error with the individual baby
