Oh ok, that helps. Was sp confused as he didn't feel as hot as it was saying and then there's no way the rooms over that temp either. First night of using it as we found the snuza a pain for giving false alarms and having to reset it every time he needed changing. Definitely sleeping a bit better with this one on. Thanks for the reply x
@Nicole We use it all the time 😊 Helps me to know how she's doing temperature wise, and also if she's in the pram or car seat then it stops me worrying about her breathing etc - especially in those early days! Although do note that when in motion the breathing monitor might not be entirely accurate, but it still lets me know that she's actually breathing. We did get the base unit as well but that tethered us to the house because the monitor itself then only worked if connected to WiFi. So we disconnected the base unit and now just use the monitor connected to my phone via Bluetooth - means we can use it constantly wherever we are 🥰
It's neither - it's the temperature around the area of the sensor (which points outwards, IE not against the skin). Strange I know! But it's working really well for us now I know not to think about baby temp or room temp with it. We just keep the alerts on for it on the recommended settings for the feeling temperature - which is 20°C to 36°C. So as long as it's between this then we know we don't need to add or remove clothes layers etc. Although do be aware it will go through the roof if baby wearing for a couple of hours...or maybe that's just my baby being like a hot water bottle 🤣😂 Hope that helps! Really love this monitor and keeps us feeling very safe with the little one 💕
