Whole blood on hpt

I had a weird period. Been feeling weird. Did a urine. Nothing. Dropped a few drops of blood with a drop of water and got a vvfl. I’m a week post implantation I’d say. Any thoughts?

You're not pregnant. The blood could of just made the evaporation line make it look like a line

Wait I’m confused on why you did a water/ blood test ?

Why did u put blood ? That could have messed it up

@Alyssa well a friend of mine did hers with blood after a similar situation. And her lines looked faint at first but got darker. This is the second one I’ve done. The first one was lighter. Like you’d have to squint kinda. This one is darker. I’ve been looking up stuff like this. Apparently saliva and breast milk work too

@Easton yea it made it hard to see but the first one also had a vvvfl lighter than this one. And that was two days ago. This one is from today.

I wouldn’t trust it. Because the blood could make the color appear soo I would just test again in a few days with just pee and see if you see a line. I don’t know if this is positive or not because everything is the same color so it’s hard to tell especially if there was an even fainter line. It probably would be darker by now. But test again in a few days with just pee

wait two more days and retest with urine

I just googled about this and it says blood could be the same or greater accuracy than urine in a bedside pregnancy test, so keep us posted!

You have to use urine.

Have you taken another today??

It’s a test designed to be used with urine. As @Vicky has posted above, this should only be done in a particular way by medical professionals. I was a medical pro and I can safely say I’ve only ever used urine on those tests because that’s what they are for. You should do another test with urine and see or get your blood taken by a doctor or nurse properly to be sure. That line could be there for sooo many reasons as the test has been done incorrectly so it will be a “contaminated” result and could be showing false positives Edited for typo

are you going to test again or wonders more days about blood? are you still bleeding im so confused about this

@LaKeisha this is the same article as mine only it doesn't show that it should only be done by a medical professional

Any update @LaKeisha??

Negative
