Can anyone help?

So I am 12 DPO today and last night we were BD and about 15 minutes afterwards. I was in excruciating pain that felt like period cramps but I’ve never felt pain like that before and it made me throw up. And then this morning I have really slight cramps And temp has dropped from 36.6 to 36.4. Period is due tomorrow so I think I’m out for this month because it is too late for implantation though I have been cramping for almost 2 weeks! I have so many symptoms that I don’t usually get in my cycle, but the pains last night scared me, honestly it is what I thought early labour would feel like. I was tested for pcos and was given the all clear, now, wondering if I have Endo as it runs in my family. Has anyone else had similar feelings or pains and if so, what was the outcome? My apps tell me my period is due between the 31st of May or 2nd of June. really thought it had worked this month as I managed to find my peak and had sex that same night. I felt ovulation cramps around 4 am the next day. Was excited because my temperature had stayed high when usually it barely reaches 36. I did three tests yesterday morning and saw very faint lines on all of them and I thought they had colour, but maybe they were indents :( really got my hopes up this month and it hurts a little more each time😕🤍

Id say its likely AF is on the way. I always found if i had sex just before my period i would cramp and it would sometimes even kickstart my period bleed 🤷🏼‍♀️. So you may have just irritate your uterus and caused it to spasm maybe. Like you say though it might be worth checking for endo as well though just incase.

@Caz I usually have sex before during and after my period (only 3 days long) and have never experienced pain, and certainly nothing like last night. I can’t even describe how painful it was but was enough to make me throw up. I literally never throw up. It genuinely scared me🥲 I only get cramps on my period and never had them before so it’s weird x

@Chloe yes im the same tbf! I dont even really get period cramps much even during tbh but have on the odd occasion felt a bit crampy after sex near it. Another thing is did you eat shortly before having sex, because i get super uncomfortable after if I do that. But yes regardless it shouldnt have been painful to the point og throwing up. Even pregnancy sex cramping doesnt cause that for me either 🤷🏼‍♀️. Maybe speak to your Doc?

@Caz some periods I get bad cramps and others are quite dull but never experienced what I did last night! My stomach is really bloated too and looks egg shaped🥲 I ate like 3 hours before but I’ve eaten just before a few times and never had any issues. Got a doc app tomorrow morning for some swaps and urine tests to see what’s wrong. I’ve read online that a lot of women only get cramps after sex in early pregnancy, even before a bfp but don’t want to get my hopes up! I thought I saw the FAINTEST line this morning but temp has gone down by 0.2, still 0.2 higher than normal, so thinking I’m out for this month. A lot of people get + before 12dpo so don’t wanna think I’m someone who won’t until like 16dpo as that seems unrealistic to me x x

@Chloe yeh our bodies are so weird arent they! Thats good you have docs booked because they will certainly be able to advise better than us on here. As for the tests, mine personally have always shown before 12 dpo but it does happen later to a lot of women on here. Many factors but one being a later ovulation than predicted. So you absolutely are not out until AF shows! 🤞😊

@Caz I didn’t ovulate until CD 21 this month but won’t know for sure until period shows, I just hate the waiting game! Would rather it just showed up now instead of waiting to see if it does or not. Hopefully the doctor can help a little but she seems to think it’s a uti although I don’t have any symptoms of one. I also feel a lot happier this month whereas before my period I’m usually an emotional wreck 😅 I haven’t cried since a few days before ovulation because I was so emotional then x x
