First Haircut?!

Has anyone given their little the first haircut yet? I can't bring myself to do it yet, but my husband wants too. Our girl is 17 months old and I usually put little pony's in her hair. But the days my husband is home with her I get photos like this with her hair all in her face. He tries to put clips in but she pulls them out. He can't figure out how to put a pony in himself. My mom gave me horrible straight bangs as a kid that took forever to grow out and I can't bring myself to do that to her right now 🥺 I love all of her hair and don't mind doing it up when I can. But I leave for work before he does so he does morning drop offs and is home with her on Fridays. I don't think she'd sit still for a haircut, but just wondering when a good time might be?
