Weaning
Hi, does anyone know the pros / cons of beginning to wean from 4 months please? Is it best just to wait until 6 months? So many different opinions and articles on Google 🫣

@Lucy she was able to sit unaided and hold her head up, she was watching us eat and literally moving her mouth towards our food, wanted more and more bf and she could co-ordinate her hands to mouth. We did it very slowly, just started with a little baby rice to see how she swallowed and it was like she had done it before lol
It’s a pain. I have no interest in doing it before 6 months.

I think ultimately (just a personal opinion) it is whatever you think is best for your baby and if your baby is ready. My daughter 11 years ago was soooo ready at 4 months but my nieces at even 5 months weren't, so my sister in law waited until the recommended 6 months. Only you know can know what is right for your LO.
