Hair cut

This is going to make me seem like a crazy mum, but i really hope not. Let me explain, my mum always goes on about cutting my 10 month old girls hair as it's long but all different lengths but me and my partner don't want to just yet as she's got a double crown we are waiting for when it's abit longer to have it styled properly plus her crazy hair looks so cute! 🥰 yesterday, my mum looked after my daughter for 2 hours whilst I was at work until my partner finished work to pick her up. She had a hair appointment booked, but she didn't mind taking her with her as she would only be 15 minutes. I told her before I dropped her off not to touch her hair. I phoned my partner when I was on my way home, and he told me he thinks someone's cut our daughters fringe (I couldn't check as she was in bed when I got home). I phoned my mum asking her and she said no noones cut her hair. Roll on to this morning checking her hair her fringe does look like it's been cut. I know it sounds silly, but I just feel like I can't trust anyone anymore. I feel like I've missed one of my daughters 'firsts. Does it look like it's been cut? For my partner to notice, I think it has been (he never notices when I have mine done)😔 Please tell me I'm not crazy. I don't mind her hair being cut a little it's just the fact I asked her not to.

It looks very neat, obviously don’t know what it looked like before. I think you need to ask your mum just to see what she says. Grandparents are a law onto themselves at times and I have issues with my own dad about not listening to what we deem right for our little one. I would be annoyed as it wasn’t for her to do, if that is what has happened.

Youre not crazy at all!!!!!

That does look a bit neat so it quite possibly has been cut. I'd be fuming if someone did that to my daughter, I'd want to be there for her first haircut. We kept a lock of my sons from his first cut and would want to do the same for my daughter too

As a hairdresser that definitely looks like someone has cut that part, as no baby or toddler is going to grow a completely straight line if they've never had their hair cut before. The hair grows very uneven from their baby fine hair and bald patches etc

It’s been cut. I’d would lose my s£&t. She shouldn’t put you in this position am sorry xx

She looks like she’s trimmed it I’m so sorry that’s happened, as a parent you want to be there for that! I did my sons first hair and my partner was there but he was on his phone to an accountant so I did say we was next so he didn’t get upset😂 but we kept a first lock of his hair.
