Infant Calpol question

Hi everyone I thought I had really bad hayfever but I actually had a cold which I have now passed to my 7 week old which I’m gutted about. We had her weighed today with the health visitor (didn’t realise she was poorly at this point) and she’s now over 4kg. Does this mean she can have the infant calpol or does she have to be 2months AND weigh over 4kg? She seems okay in herself this evening and not fussy or anything, drinking her milk and lots of wet nappies. Anything else I need to do? I will get her in my steamy bathroom tomorrow and take her temp. Thanks

Does she have a temp? I would avoid the calpol unless she has a temp, if she's stuffy, you can use saline spray, vapour drops for hot water and a nasal aspirator x x

I wouldn’t give her it unless she’s in pain or has a temp as otherwise it won’t do anything for her, and you don’t want to give it if it’s not needed 🙂
