Taking progesterone & oestrogen after 12 weeks pregnant advice please 😊

Hi ladies, I’m hoping someone might be able to help me or share what you did (if relevant). I had a frozen embryo transfer & have successfully conceived 😊. I was taking progesterone & oestrogen (Lubion injections & Cyclogest pessaries) prior to transfer & advised to keep taking if pregnant (I’m pretty sis they said until 12 weeks). I am now 12 weeks & 5 days. I have 5 Lubion injections & 7 Cyclogest pessaries left from my prescription. I called the nurses at our IVF clinic today to ask if I should stop taking them or keep going until the prescription runs out. The nurse advised that it’s up to me?? She said they advise up to 12 weeks & I can either stop all together now, keep going until they are finished or wean off them… not the most helpful response & I’m not sure what to do now. Does anyone have any experience of this or any thoughts/knowledge on what’s best to do for me & baby? I appreciate you can’t give medical advice, but I welcome any thoughts 😊. Thank you all! Allison x

I was told that after placenta takes over you don’t really need these anymore. I guess doing a few more days also does no harm, and that’s why they said up to you?

My clinic said to wean off of them, I’m only on Lubion and oestrogen tablets though (inject twice a day, three tablets a day). I was told I could be off it at 12 weeks, to drop to 1 Lubion a day from 11 weeks
