Inhixa blood thinners and elective cesarean

Morning all, is there anyone who has had/having an elective cesarean that is on blood thinners? I have been told to continue taking my Inhixa up until the day before my C-section. This concerns me a bit as I am worried it will cause excessive bleeding during my operation! TIA

I'm on 2 lots of blood thinners and I've been told the same, the day before c section. as long as its not the same day, you should be absolutely fine! but if it does concern you ring midwife for reassurance xx

@Georgia brill, thank you xx

I had to take 150g Asprin and 2 x injections. I had to stop day before also. All went well 🥰

I had to take blood thinners too due to blood clotting in my leg. I had my c-section in April - stopped taking them on Saturday night and surgery was Monday lunch time. In case you should go into labour early or you accidentally forget to stop taking it the day before, they'll put you under general anaesthetic in case they would need to do a blood transfusion (but that's only worst case scenario) It will be all good 😃 I stressed as well and double/triple checked a 100times.
