C-section over hang

Has anyone successfully got rid of there overhang? I’m 7 weeks pp and my tummy has flattened out quite well but there’s this little bulge over my scar. I’ve read it can be due to the stitches being done very tight so I’m assuming that’s what it is. I want to get back into the gym and wondering if anyone has any tips and exercises to help me? Thankyou x

Mine never went for 12 years. It got abit smaller but never went. Due to have my 3rd section in October. It really is a self esteem killer in every single aspect I hate it so much xx

I did a calorie deficit diet, along with running 5 days out of 7. I did couch to 5k and my overhang pretty much went. I had a little flab but no overhang xx

I have exactly that. Mine isn’t hanging over the scar but there is that slight bulge like you’ve said. I’m hoping if I can tone up my belly then it will flatten out. Does yours feel hard? Post my last pregnancy I did a lot of incline walking and Pilates and that really toned me up so I’ve started this again.

Look into the scar massage! This can really help x

Mine never went but iv heard good things about corsets for the Timmy after birth

7 weeks is such little time, your body has grown for the last 9 months. Give yourself a break and time will help heal.

There's a bunch of c section support pages on Instagram. The360mama has nice demonstrations on scar massages and some exercise plans I think Ease into it. You don't really want to do abb exercises for a few months (like 6-8 months) you need to SLOWLY work on your core first. I had mine pretty well gone/unnoticeable by 9ish months PP. I'm pregnant with my second and last now. After this one I'm going to look into a pelvic floor therapist and work on rebuilding my core etc the best way

15 months pp and nope! 🫣

Must admit though, I don't really exercise or eat the best... Starting slimming world, hoping that helps
