Neocate

We are on neocate after aptamil pepti didn’t work for us. My baby boy still cries after feeds so think they’ll be trying us on omeprazole after our appointment tomorrow as we haven’t explored that yet. It definitely worked better for him than the aptamil pepti and it looks more like milk and I don’t think it smells as bad. One thing we have found however is he now goes several days between poos and they’re a very dark green, which is apparently very normal on neocate!

My little one is on neocate now after a week - previously on aptamil pepti - she is like a new baby feel like I can now leave the house without dreading having an unsettled baby! I hope it works as well for you as it has for us she’s honestly like a new baby she’s so much happier constant smiles and can tell she’s nowhere near as sore - still struggles with wind but gripe water is helping a bit with that. My health visitor also suggested baby probiotics which I started yesterday, not sure if it’s coincidence but seems better again since having them xxx

That’s so reassuring @Emma! What were your baby’s symptoms before neocate? I’ve heard a few others say good things about probiotics, so I think I’m going to get some. Which ones do you have?x

She would just constantly scream poor soul, arching her back kicking her legs out straight, wouldn’t lie flat whether it being in her pram or cot would just want to be held upright constantly and hiccups/coughing when feeding but we’ve now been able to go out with the pram and she’s been sleeping in her next to me cot with only one wake up overnight it’s honestly amazing 😂 I got the love bug ones from Amazon the reviews were really good so hopefully continues to make a difference xx

Bless her, she sounds a lot like my baby boy along with being extremely windy! Fingers crossed we have a similar positive reaction 🤞🏼 omg I hope we get only one wake up in the night … I’m currently up every 1.5 hours most nights 🫠🤣 xx
