Unethical?! Wow! Sorry they said that to you. What was their BMI limit,just out of interest?
Most private clinics have an upper limit of 35. Even then, I had to lose weight to get under 33 before my clinic would start. I think the reason they say it’s unethical is because the risks in pregnancy are higher and your chances of success are lower the higher your BMI, so they feel it wouldn’t be fair to take your money. I don’t think it’s a comment on your fitness to be a parent. I know the limits tend to be a bit more generous in the US though… (but then maybe they have less qualms about ripping people off?)
