Progesterone dropping drastically after embryo transfer

Can’t you speak to your clinic about additional meds?

@Sarah i have an appo today so I hope it sheer some light on it but wanted to know out there if it is possible / common.

I was on 3 lots of 500mg tablets to insert 3 times a day.

So I don’t think I had my progesterone measured after any transfer so wouldn’t be able to say. I was on 3 progesterone suppository and 1 lubion shot daily this time round, which was successful. I stopped that at 12 weeks. Good luck!

I was on 3 pessarys a day I think they were 500mg. We never had my progesterone measured after transfer, seems like it’s another stress factor to add on really to an already very stressful situation. Definitely speak to your clinic and see if there’s additional meds or anything they can do. Fingers crossed it’s all fine 🙏🏻

I’m not sure if this is helpful but mine was 23.81 afterwards and they said “this is great!” I’m not sure if it’s supposed to keep growing 🤔

My progesterone is 125 atm with 7.5weeks pregnant with twins.

I'm not sure they just give me the numbers like that from the blood test.

Anything above 20 is a good number. Mine dropped after my FET too (can't remember exact numbers) but my clinic say that the corpus luteum produces progesterone leading up to your transfer window as that is what gets released when you ovulate (and why tests like proov have you test progeserone at the end of your cycle) which boosts your progesterone levels when coupled with your medication (I was on PIO). I would not panic! Mine was in the 40s after my transfer and it went down over time to 21 once they put me on every third day. Best of luck!
