Hi, I have a 10 month old with epilepsy, low muscle tone and suspected left hemi CP. We are still waiting for OT and PT (6 months almost!) and only had a telephone assessment with OT.
My little one can now sit unaided and is crawling but it’s becoming clear he needs some extra support such as in his pram, sitting in highchairs and swings etc and also in the bath and I don’t have the money to buy the right things with them being in the £100s usually.
Anyone have any ideas?
Bath seats mainly and is there such thing as like equipment loan for something such as the GoTo firefly size 1?😫🤞🏼

@Danika we are awaiting a desicion from DLA still (applied in feb/March) I’ll have a look at the grants thank you x
Think decision takes about 12 weeks I have DLA for my son x
@Joanne we’ve been waiting since late feb, hoping it’s sooner rather than later x
Hope you get it sooner rather than later because it does really help you out massively I find my son in on medium rate for care and higher rate for mobility x
@Joanne i don’t think we will get mobility as he’s only 10 months but should get care component x
