Baby monitor owlet

I have one but what I don't like about it is that you have to have the app open in order to see or hear the baby. Which means you have to keep the app open over night. I went with a traditional monitor instead so I could actually use my phone while keeping an eye on the baby

Dont get me wrong I use my owlet one but I use it in my playroom as a nanny cam so I can access it when I need to.

Some people say they’re easily hackable thanks to WiFi and there’s been some horror stories of weirdos talking to/watching peoples babies in the middle of the night
