I follow theptparent on instagram (she’s a pediatric physical therapist) and she teaches how to help with this and other important milestones! That’s said, I’m still pregnant so I haven’t tried it out for myself yet. Definitely worth looking into and trying though.
He will need to be able to roll first before crawling. It’s important that they get the muscle strength and build one step at a time before jumping from one skill to another. My son didn’t crawl until 9 months but was walking before 1. They will do it when they are ready just give plenty of tummy time and help him with the rolling for now.
just keep doing tummy time! he will figure it out as he goes
He is so adorable. Wow ♥️
Mine figured it out because she was on one end of the couch, and she wanted to get to the other side where the dog was. I didn’t help, I just watched her figure it out (while she was getting annoyed sometimes) - it took like an hour 😂 So basically I did nothing! Which was hard lol. That was a bit after 5 months.
Just keep giving them time on the floor. Your profile says your child is 5 months which would be quite early to crawl! Not all kids crawl anyway so it's nothing to be worried about. Mine did but only at 10 months.
