Dreaded topic.. work!

I know we don't all want to think about returning to work but I am feeling so stressed about the costs of childcare and managing my eldest school drop off and care for baby. Does anyone work from home? What jobs do you do working from home? I'm currently a Nursery Manager in a primary school and the hours just don't match up and my childcare issue is priority. In a bit of a pickle as childcare is all I know!

I work from home, I’m a sports coordinator for a hotel (so basically I book sports teams into hotels across the country) I absolutely love it and the hours are really good. Working from home does get too much sometimes so it’s good to have the option to go into work aswell xx

I work from home work in risk, my husband also works from home (same company) it’s ideal can be lonely though!! X

I’m already thinking about work too, even though we decided I’ll stay home for a year. I’m also looking for sth where I’d be able to work remotely as we moved out the city now that the baby is here. The cost of travel on top of a nursery fees will probably equal close to my weekly pay so seems a bit pointless.

I work from home and have anxiety about it for a few reasons. Planning on holding down the job a few months then starting a home daycare. Already have mom guilt about not being able to put my baby first as my current job requires a lot of attention to detail 😭 trying to let go and let God. Praying things fall into place as needed. Work from home is a blessing for when you have older kids, but I’m not so sure my work is going to be thrilled I’m trying to mother my newborn and work at the same time 🫠

I’m also in childcare and although said I wouldn’t want to work in a nursery again, I have done because of discount and taking my child in with me as like you childcare is difficult to find
