Embryo grading vs your pgt results

Hi all! We just had our first round of IVF and egg retrieval. We are 28 and 29 and are suffering from male factor infertility. Thankfully with just doing minimal Stims we were able to have FOUR frozen embryos for testing. They are sending their biopsies off today and we should get results back in about 3 weeks. I will list our little embryos grades below. I'm curious to see if anyone had similar grades and what your pgt results were! We're VERY happy and thankful with our grades so far but I'm SO so nervous to get these results back. 😭 Embryo 1- 5BB Embryo 2- 5BB Embryo 3- 5AA Embryo 4- 5BB

I recently had 3 x 5BB and 2 x 5CC PGT tested (PGT was done as I have a balanced chromosomal translocation so it is expected a high percentage of our embryos will come back chromosomally abnormal) and thankfully 2 embryos are suitable for transfer, both are 5BB grade. I have no idea whether the grade is in any way linked to PGT results though. Wishing you all the best for your results!

@Ella thank you so so much! I'm so happy for you ❤️ do you know when you will get to have your transfer?

Thank you! We’ll be doing a transfer on my next cycle, so hopefully in about 3 weeks time! 🤞

@Ella yay!! Good luck 🤞 sending good vibes and baby dust your way 💗

@Elise I agree! I was just curious what your outcome was ☺️ that's awesome though! When was your transfer? If you don't mind me asking.

August 7 - though chances are pretty good your 5AA is going to also be normal. I think when you get into the AAs the fact that they even got to that advanced of a stage means they should probably have all the right components. Fingers crossed for you!
