Speech - speaking in sentences

My 25 month old still isn't really talking in sentences. I think she is talking in two word sentences but it's difficult to tell. She sometimes says things like: "there's the ball" does this count? Other than that she has lots and lots of words but isn't putting them together much and doesn't conversate. How are your los getting on? Difficult to tell if she needs intervention!

That’s totally normal and perfect! :) she’s doing well ‘there’s the ball’ is a 3 word sentence so sounds like she’s smashing it It will suddenly click together more! My little ones 26 months and hers just seems to have come from nowhere

Yes that’s a sentence, it sounds like she’s doing great to me😁my little boy has just started to put lots of words together, it’s great we can have a proper conversation! Just keep talking to her, it will come!

Yes that counts 👍 my little boy is still one or two words sentences but the understanding is there like today he wiped up the floor and said 'clean now' he will also say 'cup of tea' lol

Yeah that's normal. Only time mine has said more than 3 words is when they're repeating what they've just heard.

That is totally a sentence. My daughter is extremely advanced with her speech (hitting 3 year old expectations). My oldest child couldn't put two words together until almost 3 years old. My middle child taught his brother how to speak despite being 14 months younger then him. They all develop differently x
